Jon broke his collarbone in Rhode Island this weekend when a racer in front of him crashed, taking Jon out with him. He is currently in the hospital getting checked out.

Update: cars are fine, cats are fine. On a bright note, Maggie doesn't poop on the floor any more (no, I didn't give her away or chain her up outside!) Two litter boxes did the trick -- she just wanted her own potty!
