It's Comcastic!

When we stayed briefly in North Boulder our house had Comcast Intenet. Since we are occasional users of BitTorrent, we found the internet service shutting down on us. Lovely.

Turns out, in an effort to reduce network traffic, Comcast was detecting BitTorrent traffic and shutting down service to anyone participating in file sharing/p2p/bitTorrent activity.

Comcast is now in big doodoo with the FCC and are responding by implementing a Customer Bill of Rights. Are they serious? They are now granting us rights? It's Comcastic.

BTW... I love my Qwest 7 mbps service at the new house. It's Fantastic.

Good you're out of Comcast. I just saw this article nominating them as worst company ever.
