Axel was hard at work in the yard this morning deadheading dandelions for me. What a guy! Tomorrow morning we embark on the Lava Lamp camping trip to Palo Duro (the Grand Canyon of Texas, yeehaw). With a burn ban on most of the state we'll have no campfire to stare at so we are bringing the Lava Lamp instead. Yes, there is electricity at the site which I find somewhat embarassing.Today we get to pick through our dusty car camping crud and see what has made it through the winter intact. Since we no longer have an appropriate vehicle to tow it with, we'll also be going through Squatting Turtle to harvest any useful gems. Anyone need a 1200 pound pop up trailer?
