Stubbed My Toe

Here is my toe at the doctor's office waiting to be lidocained and
sutured. Yay.

I was kicking an ottoman out of the way last night but I accidentally
kicked the sharp wooden leg instead of the soft part.

Apparently in the Wood vs Toe battle, toe loses.

What an owie. Will you have to be off of it long?
Having a good time in Vermont. Up scale casual at best for pre-wedding dinner. Having lots of grins, except for when the Borden Boys are being cruel. Try to out do each other in that I'm afraid.

I had cut myself the night before and thought I could jut tough it out. It wasn't until the baby and I met Jon for lunch the next day that we decided to take me to the doctor (urgent care). They didn't end up suturing it because it had been open > 12 hours... which was good because the lidocaine did NOT work and I could feel everything quite vividly as the doctor cleaned it up. I couldn't have stood stitches.
