Bye Bye Mesa Elementary

Today Leah and all her 5th grade friends said goodbye to Mesa Elementary. Each child was voted most likely to be something and Leah's friends voted her most likely to be an Astronaut. Then there was a slide show of all the kids from kindergarten to the present, which was pretty hilarious but also quite moving. I cried. It's emotional to watch your child graduate from elementary school... she's just not a little kid anymore and this confirms it.

As you have said before, Cyndi, "She's eleven going on eleven." After seeing all the little sex-pots out there I am pleased to be able to say that about Leah and her friends in Boulder. Another thing you all are doing correctly out there! Way to go, mom, and the sleep over, too! A chip off the old block on that one. Remember all of our sleep overs here?
