Lions and Tigers and Bears... oh my!

I left a comment at the bottom of this Daily Camera article. Dad, is the yearly premium for lion insurance still $0.25?

My response to that article, as it was to the people attending the "Living in Bear and Lion Country" talk at the library last year who complained that the lions were stalking the chickens they raise "open range" at their mountain home (!! -- note: there is a picture of this couple in the encyclopedia under the word "DUMBASS"), was this: "MOVE." Or, as you stated much more to the point, they need to get better with their slingshots. LOL
Nothing is as bad as the woman I used to work with who came to work every day bragging about how they had lions in their yard in Jamestown every night and how beautiful they were, and then came to work one morning howling when her dachshund got eaten because she left it out all night. Can't be the lion's fault, in my opinion! :-)

Good writing, Cyndi. I don't know if Dad has seen this yet. I will tell him about it.

Only if I can get 50% of the Boulder population to buy premiums. The maximum payout for a fatality will be $100.00. Dad (answering as Robbin because I can't remember my password.

Based on what I hear about guest speakers at Boulder High School, I suggest feeding the guest speakers to the mountain lions.
