The guests in the other cottage are 2 older couples from Staffordshire so I doubt they will be using the kid's desks. One of them, Gordon, stopped by last night to give us a Christmas card. We had a nice chat and it turns out he is the deputy town crier of Staffordshire. I tried to find out what they "cry" about and how often but this is hard to do without being rude, so I am left wondering.
